My Review

Okay so where is the " I'm addicted to Jack Gunnison" therapy group!? Seriously!!

This book blew me away! I have so much to say about it that I'm not sure how to say it at all!  I had to take a day to let it all settle in because I was in Awe with this book!! So here it goes!

We have a sexy, bossy, alpha male Sheriff Jack whose use to getting his way ALL the time and we have Jenn the beautiful, stubborn, smart ass, reporter who doesn't like to be bossed around!:)

Jenn moved to Gunnison a few months ago after losing her husband 18 months ago to a drunk driver and just sending her only daughter off to college. Jenn decided it was time for her to live her life and follow her dreams. So she packs up and moves to the mountains. Jenn is a reporter covering stories for the local bake sales in town so when she drives up on a crime scene of a serial killer she sees an opportunity she can't pass.

Jenn and Jack meet at the crime scene where a 2nd female has been found murdered in Gunnison county. Jack notices Jenn right away but thinks to himself she is just a nosy reporter.
Jack refuses to give any information to Jenn, but that doesn't stop her from trying to figure it out. She gets a few of her friends from town to help her with her investigation. But Every time Jenn is set out to do her own investigation it always ends up with Sheriff Jack involved and he is not happy!

"Jesus, I've got Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys on my hands."

Jack feels this connection with Jenn. He can't seem to understand how this women gets under his skin and pisses him off but he also is turned on by her.

"Jenn, swear to god its a good thing you're on the phone or I'd spank your ass, then kiss you till you couldn't see straight."

Jack has met his match! Jenn is sweet and funny but she will stand up for herself!
When she has her mind set she will follow through! She also knows how to apologize when shes wrong too which made me absolutely love her!. She was witty, independent and didn't take crap from nobody (until Jack) Lol

Jack is bossy and alpha and he has to have things his way! He is well known by the ladies in town and has never settled down. Not because he doesn't want to, but he just hasn't found the right women who gets him.
But don't get me wrong Jack has a sweet, soft side and I loved it!

I laughed so much reading this book too! The banter between them two was hilarious!
I felt like a giddy school girl smiling and falling for Jack! He was just all that!!

"'How come I get the feeling anything I say is gonna go in one ear and out the other?"
"Perceptive man," I shouted.
"Christ you're a pain in my ass," he shouted back.

"Yes, sir Sheriff sir."
"Smartass."
"Bossy."
"Later baby."
"Later Jack."

I fell in love with Jack and Jenn and couldn't get enough of them!
From bickering with each other, to sweet moments and some Hott sex these two were made for each other!

After more women came up dead things start to take turn and Jenn finds herself In danger.
Jack being the type of man he is does whatever he can to protect Jenn.

This book will take you on an journey through love, lies, murder, suspense, humor and much more!
I was sucked into the story! I felt like I was living in Gunnison county trying to figure out who the killer was and I felt like I knew the towns people personally!

This book is UNFORGETTABLE! It is a MUST read! I can't say enough about it!
It deserves more than 5 stars!!
C.P. Smith wrote an amazing story that has made it on my favorite's list!!:)
