Synopsis

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,

where monsters hide and aim to ruin.

And they did.

They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.

And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.

My Review

There are certain Authors that just know how to do it for me, and Jay Mclean is one of them.
I can sit her a tell you how amazing she is and how much I freaking Loved Logan and Amanda's story. But I won't, because if you have already read More Than This and More Than Her and loved it, you already know this is a 5 star read. IF you haven't read this series but follow my reviews you know how much I love this author and anything she writes I will love to death. So what can I write to make my review worth your time. Honestly? Nothing.
Jay Mclean's writing needs to be experienced first hand. You need live in the world she creates with these characters. Feel their pain, laugh with them, cry with them, hurt with them and most of fall in love with them. And only then will see how truly amazing this author is.

This review will contain a few spoilers if you are yet to read More Than Her…...

More Than Him picks right up where More Than Her left us. Amanda left alone and confused as to what happened with Logan. And Logan off trying to get his head straight.
At first I thought Amanda was dealing OK, sure she survived something horrific and shuts herself down, but it wasn't until Jay slowly unravels her story that you really get to see the deep pain she hides.

"You asshole," I whispered, figuring if I could feel his presence in the room, maybe he could hear me wherever he was. "I hate you." Lie.

She is suffering and we see her go through with dealing with the fallout. Jay makes you feel her pain so much that for each hurt you feel for her, a little anger in replaced at Logan.

I remember thinking was that maybe Logan and I were connected somehow, more than just a boy and a girl in love. Maybe our souls were entwined - if he hurt, I hurt. If he stopped breathing, I did too. If he died, maybe I would die with him. But I was alive, I was awake. Which mean that he was, too. But I didn't see him, he never came for me.
He just left.

But Logan is hurting too, and when you get in his head and see how he is dealing your heart breaks all over for him. His reasoning's and way he handles the situation is his way of processing everything that happens in More Than Her. His struggle is long and hard and you get to see his deep love for Amanda.

She was my person. Nothing else mattered. Not back then. Now everything matters.
Because I was the match that started the inferno.

When Logan comes back, they find themselves unable to keep away. But their issues still need to be worked through. Both having to work through all the pain and guilt they each hold.

"Two hearts can beat as one, even if they aren't synced. Maybe you just need to find the right rhythm, the right timing. Maybe now's the time for you guys."

Logan and Amanda's story is just… I don't know. Its no words. It's a feeling, an emotion and an experience that really can't be explained in words. Their love, and their pain slowly enters your heart and takes up residence there. And they won't leave, for every time you go back and just re-read a line you feel it deep inside. Reminding you of their struggle.

"You're my light, Amanda. In a life full of shadows, and darkness, and monsters, you're my light. When the blackness fades, and the memories subside, you'll be there. You're always there."

My heart beat out of my chest. I wanted to pick it up and hand it to him, tell him that it belonged to him, and that I had no right to posses it.

Gah they just so unperfectly perfect. Their story, their friends, their life, it's all just amazing. We get to see all the gang again. Drunk Lucy, Horny Cam, Sexy Jake and Sweet Kayla are all back making you laugh out loud at their antics. I love Amanda and Alan's relationship. I love Alan! Yes Jay, I love the older Man…. Why can't Allan find someone nice? Poor Man deserves to not be alone. Find him a nice woman lady! hahahha.

I can't wait for the next instalment from the gang. Jay gives you a little taste at the end of Lucy and Cam. Let me just say…. I can't wait to see what a wild cat that Lucy is in bed!!

I can't get enough of this woman and if you are yet to read any of her books, go one click them now!!!
Trust me you will fall in love too!
