My Review
“You’re so fucking frearless I forget how fragile you are.”
The words gently spoken against my lips cause my
eyes to slide closed.
“I’m not fearless,” I tell him,
resting my forehead against his. “I’m afraid all the damn time.”
“Nah,” he shakes his head,
“you’re a fucking warrior.”
What can I say? I am
addicted to the Mayson boys! Kenton may not be a brother but he most definitely
has the Mayson blood running through his veins.
“Autumn.”
His tone has my head
coming up and my heart beating double-time.
“You said when we get married,
not if we get married.”
I repeat the words circling inside my head.
“Yeah?”
His eyes narrow further,
making me squirm.
“When, Kenton…you said when we
get married, not if,”
I say again, trying to drive home what I am getting at.
“Of course we’re getting
married,”
he says in a tone that makes me squirm.
“What?”
“Babe, what in the fuck do you
think is going on between the two of us?”
I have read every book in the Until Series so when I found
out that none other than, Kenton himself, was getting a book I was so beyond
excited. I mean- He’s hot, he’s
mysterious and he exudes a level of danger that you don’t know if you want to
run away and hide from or call it quits and just take off your panties and enjoy the
ride!
I try to take my eyes off him,
but they feel glued. His wet hair is dripping onto his body. His abdominal
muscles flex with each step. The deep V of his hips disappears beneath the
small towel that is also showing off his well-endowed package.
Kenton Kenton Kenton. Strong, fearless and so very
protective. When a sexy red head by the
name of Autumn comes crashing into his life- Kenton knows that things will
never be the same. She is everything he
should not want. I mean, she is a
stripper who prances around in barely there clothes in front of guys- not the
kind of girl you want to bring home to your mamma.
Autumn is a woman who is used to being treated a certain way
because of her looks, and she hates it.
She hates that people assume she is one way when there are so many
layers to her.
However long I’m on stage, I’m
not even me. It’s what I imagine an out
of body experience would be like—a performance, nothing more, nothing less. The people watching make assumptions about
who they think I am, or cook up a story in their heads of who they want me to
be. I’m just another beautiful face.
When Autumn finds herself in great danger, she is sent to a
Tennessee town to live with a friend of a friend. No matter how much she tries
to fight her attraction and growning feelings for her new roommate she is on
the winning side of a losing battle. Who would have thought that “friend’ would
end up being the sole reason for all the wrongs in her life to turn right?
When he’s within touching
distance, his had wraps around my bicep and his mouth comes to my ear.
“No more fucking ignoring me,” he growls.
“No more fucking ignoring me,” he growls.
If the wetness in my panties is
anything to go by, I like his aggression.
The chemistry between Autumn and Kenton is explosive right
from the very start. She is feisty and
Kenton loves it. She is fearless and
Kenton craves that. She is beautiful and
Kenton is in aww of it. There has never
been another person on earth to have the effect on him that she does.
He places his forehead to mine
and it takes a few seconds to come back to myself. My eyes open, meeting his.
“This changes nothing,”
I tell him quietly,
still feeling my lips tingling from his kiss.
“You’re right.”
He takes a
breath, his lips moving closer to mine.
“You fucking changed everything.”
Same goes for her.
Autumn has suffered so much in her twenty-six years. She was forced to
give up the most important part of herself and there is no coming back from
that. She never thought she would find someone to open up to and confide in.
Someone to help ease the pain that is so deeply rooted in her heart. But by
some wicked twist of fate that is exactly what she has found.
There is a lot going on in the book and I will not give any
spoilers. This is an exciting, sexy, sweet, and emotional read. Aurora Rose Reynolds is quickly becoming my
queen of Hot Alpha-males that do not take no for an answer. I am not a huge fan of insta-love but when
Aurora writes it- I eat every chapter, word and syllable up. I would say this is probably the most mild
case of insta-love out of all the Mayson boys but it is most definitely still
there.
