Resist Me Ebook

Synopsis
Izzy Gallo has never been described as a member of the weaker sex. She’s a woman who doesn’t take shit from anyone. Growing up with four older overprotective brothers has hardened her, making her a force to be reckoned with.
Against the wishes of her two brothers, Joe and Mike, Izzy takes a weekend trip to Bike Week in Daytona, turning her world upside down. Over her head, in a world she doesn’t understand, there’s only one man who can save her.
James Caldo has dedicated his life to protect and serve as a member of the DEA. He’s cocky, overbearing, and doesn’t take no for an answer – the Gallo men have nothing on him.
When their paths cross, James makes Izzy question everything she believes about completely surrendering to the opposite sex.
Does James have what it takes to overpower the headstrong Izzy, capturing her heart forever?

Review
Izzy and James' story! Wohoo! Resist Me, book four in the Men of Inked series did NOT disappoint. This instalment was most definitely my favourite of them all.

No one told me what to do. I was Izzy Gallo. Slave to no one and master of my destiny. - Izzy

I was ecstatic that we were getting Izzy's story because I totally adore the feisty Gallo sister with her straight up, no bullshit attitude. This book was full of smokin' hot sexy scenes, hilarious banter between Izzy, James and also her brothers and so much more. Once again Chelle Bliss has invited us all into the Gallo family home and treated us to more of their love, humour and alpha male antics. If you have enjoyed a taste of these irresistible men before in Throttle Me, Hook me and Throttled then you will absolutely LOVE Resist Me.

I walked up to her as she stopped by the front door and pressed her against the flat surface, brushing my lips against hers. "My cock is a good reason. I remember you mumbling something about God when I was finger-fucking you. And then...then there's my mouth; you almost suffocated me to death. Do i need more reasons?" - James

Oh James you cocky bastard. The man is hot as sin and Izzy wants nothing more than to strip him naked and have her wicked way with him, but as soon as he opens his mouth, she remembers why she won't go there. James knows that she wants him, so yeah, the dude's cocky. However, it isn't in a way that makes it annoying or a turn off. It's quite the opposite actually. His alpha male tendencies and self confidence make him all the sexier. James is a DEA agent, he's been working one particular case for years now and one night, that case lands him with one cranky Izzy Gallo in the back of a cop car. And so it begins, James pursuit of the unattainable. Izzy. James is a very genuine and loyal guy, he can be so sweet at times and you can't help but fall for him. I want to tell you so much more, but I also don't want to give away too much of the story and spoil it for future readers. All I can say is you will want to screw James' brains out and he will melt your heart at the same time! Will these two get their happily ever after? Or will Izzy and her stubbornness send James packing?

Isabella Gallo wasn't an easy target, but nothing worth having ever is. She didn't know it yet, but I had my sights set on her, and I always got what I wanted. - James

Izzy, Izzy, Izzy... that woman had me laughing my ass off many times in this book. She's sassy, confident and she does not take kindly to being ordered around by anyone, and certainly not by a man. She's a very likeable character and I totally love her! Due to her being brought up with a bunch of brothers and having no sisters, Isabella Gallo has always been under the protection of her bossy older brothers. They've scared away potential lovers, taught her how to through a good right hook and now Izzy is quite a fierce young woman who guards her heart closely. Not to mention, she's an absolute stunner!! Will James be able to break down the concrete walls Izzy has built up around herself?

I loved a good sparring partner as much as the next person, but James was an entirely different animal. He wasn't a pushover, an easy victim. No, he was the worst kind of all- a clear-cut victor and an opponent I couldn't beat. - Izzy

So now that I got my Izzy and James fix, I can not wait Thomas' story. If you love a sassy, confident female lead and a very self assured hot as hell man by her side then this book is definitely for you. Resist Me is a stand-alone novel, however, I highly recommend reading the first three instalments of the series before jumping into this book.

Excerpt
“I need to undress,” she said, tapping her foot as she stared at me. “I don’t have my bag of clothes and I can’t wear this shit to bed.”

“I’ve seen it all.”
Her clothing didn’t do much to hide what I already knew lay underneath. The skintight jeans that narrowed around her ankle just above the black high heels had my dick aching. I wanted to feel the bite of them against my skin as I pounded into her.
“I was drunk,” she groaned, her eyes growing into little slits.
“Are you saying I took advantage of you?” She couldn’t be fucking serious. I didn’t do that shit. She’d wanted it as much as I had. I’d known from the moment she’d called me Jimmy that she’d wanted me. I’d known enough about her from Thomas that I’d had her MO down pat.
“I wasn’t thinking clearly. You aren’t my type.” She wrinkled her nose, twirling her finger like I was going to roll over like a dog and face the other way.
“Doll,” I teased.
“Fuck you and that ‘doll’ bullshit. Turn. The. Fuck. Around,” she hissed.
