My Review
Relinquish was a fantastic read that sucked me in from the get go.
I loved me some Kingston James and couldn't honestly get enough of him. King is one sexy alpha douchy male who proves to have that perfect side of sweet once meeting the right girl.
Enter Phoenix.
As soon as these two meet the sparks fly and the sexual tension is catapulted into I just can't stop reading territory.
I really couldn't get enough of these two together their banter was witty and the chemistry was incredible.
The story like it self was unique, in the beginning I was completely consumed and so deep into Nix and King that I could not put it down. But then something happens and it left me shaking my head.
It was 100% a WTF moment that threw me for one hell of a loop.
Which was awesome at first because I totally didn't see it coming AT ALL!
However this twist also pissed me off something fierce! Like I was mad at the book- pissed off. After all my feelings of happiness and relief and love SE Dean made me feel like everything I knew was a lie. Like did it all happen or not? Which parts were real? What parts weren't? Now all I have it question after question and I need closure on all my questions. Like I can't even think about Relinquish without feeling happy with a side of WTF???
I'm so torn on my feelings and all I can say is Bravo!!!??? See I don't even know. Lol
But what I do know it's I loved the characters, the hot sex and the WTF shock.

“Aw, Kitten,” he places his hands on both sides of my face, “Don’t be mad, I had to make sure you couldn’t leave…and I really don’t regret one fucking bit of it. Seeing you like this is worth it,” he says as he leans in to place a quick kiss to my lips. “You’re straight up crazy, you know that, right?” “That’s debatable.” “No, there’s no debate, you, sir, are fucking cuckoo for cocoa puffs.” “Uh huh, that has to be the lamest thing I’ve ever heard come out of your mouth.” My jaw drops at his ribbing. “Dick!” I yell as I smack him in the arm. “Okay, sorry…but it’s the truth.” I smack him again, “Watch it, mister, I bite.” “Oh, don’t threaten me with a good time, Kitten,” he says with a gleam in his eye. “Good God!” The doorbell rings. “Saved,” he laughs, “Ready to eat?” I walk away from him, and out of his bedroom, doing my best to sashay my ass as I pass, and throw over my shoulder, “I have something you can eat.” He growls, fucking growls so low and deep that the tingling is back between my legs. He snatches my upper arms and flings me backwards to him, my back to his bare chest. “Careful, Kitten, I already want to make sure your pussy feels me there for the next week. Keep that shit up and I’ll make sure you ache from my cock for the next fucking year.”

SE Dean lives in the Midwest with her husband, two small children, and their bed-hogging dog, Harley. To add to the craziness, last year she decided to go back to school to fulfill a dream of a graduate degree in nursing, and is currently striving towards that goal (pass the coffee and antacid please!).
