*** REVIEW BLITZ *** Beautiful Mistake by Vi Keeland

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend--smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done. Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant. Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy. Oops. My mistake. Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology. I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right? That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning. Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant. I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking. Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West. This was going to be interesting…

My Review

Where do I even start with this Book!  From the first pages the chemistry between the two leads characters – Rachel Martin & Caine West is off the charts.  Seriously…it doesn’t matter whether they are completely infuriated with each other or trying to resist the urge to tear each other’s clothes off (sometimes both at the same time) the chemistry between these two is deliciously palpable.

Rachel is in her final of studying and working part time waitressing, as well as being newly hired as a TA at the Music Conservatory where she attends.  As fate would have it, a case of mistaken identity sees her abuse a man who she discovers is none other than her new Boss, Professor Caine.  Caine is just a whole mixed bag of a man.  There were times when I just wanted to yell at him through my kindle and then others when the vulnerability and sweetness that came from him was just heart wrenching.  This is a guy who needs to give himself a break.

Beautiful Mistake was funny, heartfelt, sexy and every emotion in between.  Written in dual points of view, the writing took me effortlessly from past to present as it evolved and unfolded it’s storyline with plenty of twists and turns and beautifully complex characters, who I was not ready to say goodbye to when this book came to it’s end.  Trust me when I say you need this book in your life.

Beautiful Mistake was a beautiful book with a beautiful story line. Vi Keeland has the ability to make a twist appear out of nowhere that leaves my jaw hanging open and my heart pounding out of my chest. This mistaken identity story was complex and emotional. I also laughed and swooned. And I couldn't get enough.
